Tipova Monastery

Tipova is located 100km to the north of the capital Chisinau. It is the largest not only in moldova but also in east Europe. The church & the monks cells are formed in an abrupt rocky Nistru bank in X-XII centuries; in some studies the date given is XVI - XVIII century.
