Khayer Bek minaret
The school ( madrasa) is one of the Mamluk period, it is located near the end of one of the major branching spines of the historic city ; Bab al-Wazir street. It was founded in 927H. / 1520 A.D. by the Circassian Amir Khayrbak. It consists of a mosque, sabil at the northern end of the facade, and a mausoleum for the founder.
The minaret which was added later in the ottoman era is located near the dome of the mausoleum and built on the vault of the second mausoleum with bricks (originally consisted of three parts ).
