Hala Sultan Tekka

The Tekke of Hala Sultan, is located about four miles from Larnaca, on the west bank of the Salt Lake, has two buildings (guest house for men and women) behind the main entrance gate, as well as, a small mosque and behind the mosque toward south lies the mausoleum of Hala Sultan.

The Tekke was built where Umm Harām (honorable lady) bint Milhān al-Ansārī al-Khazradjī was buried. She was first married with ‘Amr ibn Qais who was killed in the battle of Uhud bei Medina (3H./624).
