Great Umayyad mosque, study
The mosque is located on the historic city of Aleppo. It was founded by al-Walid Ibn Abdel Malik during Umayyad period. The plan includes a large courtyard surrounded by Qibla Iwan and the other two North and West sides had two riwaqs while the south west side has one riwaq. The minaret has a square stool and is divided to four stories
